Creating online presence

7TUNE Japan is a Tokyo based cars export and media content production company. To strengthen its positioning online and decrease bounce-rates, a website refresh, flow reorganization and usability improvements was needed. The site served two main purposes; the brand’s media publishing hub and an user generated content community.

TACKLING BOUNCE-RATES

After looking through the analytics, we noticed that although the site contents were popular most users dropped off at the homepage without further exploration. Therefore by introducing and highlighting content teasers such as featured articles, store CTA and calendar events, viewers are encouraged to click around.

BLACK AND WHITE

Being a small startup experiencing rapid growth, the brand wanted to present themselves in a more sleek and professional manner, whilst still keeping true to its identity. I opted for a modular and clean redesign, and removed the dark backgrounds (except for user dashboards) to give pages more breathability.
